Madera leaders pass Gaza ceasefire resolution, become first Valley city calling for peace

The city of Madera became the first in the San Joaquin Valley to support a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Good for them. Many of us tried to convince the Merced City Council to adopt a similar resolution. Perhaps they'll reconsider their decision. The Israeli Likud Party created the phrase "Israel will control all of Palestine from the river to the sea. I'm glad Americans are beginning to recognize Israeli and western propaganda to erase Palestinian identity.
